When C-Monster circuit boards in Power-Pole Anchors fail, we address the problem with high-end, component-level repairs rather than replacing the entire board. By carefully diagnosing the failure and replacing only the faulty parts, we bring these boards back to life and keep Power-Pole systems working reliably — without the expense of a full swap-out.

We’re also glad to handle these repairs because it means less electronic waste. Too often, damaged boards get discarded; by repairing rather than tossing, we extend service life and reduce the impact on the waters we care about.

Identify your board: model & revision

Quick tip: CM-2 boards appear on 2017-and-later anchors; earlier models are typically CM-1.

CM-2 top side — CM-2 — **Top side**: look for model/revision silk such as *HYDRO EA095 Rev AB*. The two large plated posts are the power input that mate with the *GND* / *+12V* pads on the back.

CM-2 back/bottom side — CM-2 — **Back/bottom**: near the bottom edge you’ll often see *JL Marine EA095 HYDRO2 Rev A* plus labels for *GND*, *+12V*, and motor phases *U V W*. The white sticker is usually on the bottom.

Where to find the REV on CM-2

Back side (see second photo): near the bottom edge — e.g., JL Marine EA095 HYDRO2 Rev A ; you’ll also see GND and +12V printed.
Top side (first photo): near the upper-left component cluster — e.g., HYDRO EA095 Rev A.
If it’s not obvious, also check near mounting holes or along the connector edge.

If your Power-Pole circuit board does not match the CM-2 examples or lacks a CM-2 revision marking, it is most likely a CM-1 board. When you reach out, please include clear photos of both sides so we can confirm the model and revision.
